Wee! I finally have a chance to post something DIY-ish. Yay!

Actually, I made this shadow box several weeks ago, tapi baru sempet ke-post sekarang. Yah, semacam iseng-iseng di waktu luang. At first, I wanted to make a good morning-greeting-card but then I decided to make a shadow box after looking for some ideas in Pinterest. So if you want to make some DIY projects, go to Pinterest and find tons of ideas there! :)

Modify Your Own Spiral Notebook

Got nothing to do and decided to modify my old spiral notebook into a personal agenda.

Just customize your old notebook instead of buying a new agenda. :D

Let's Give a Hoot!

You guys should give a hoot to my new friends.

Ha! These are glasses pouch that I've made from felt some months ago. The three of them are pure handmade   because I din't use sewing machine to sew the felt. I think I will make another glasses pouch if I have much much MUCH spare time.

notetoself: Maybe I should learn to use sewing machine.

Newbies on the Desk

Just want to show you my new handmade notebooks.

1. The bus-and-girl-notebook was made by Vitarlenology and I bought it when I was in Craft Carnival several weeks ago.

2. The other notebook with a girl in its cover is my very first simple binding notebook and I made it by myself. Yay!

When Papers Meet Scissors

While the sun was blazing hot, I spent my sweaty Sunday by making a double-face-bookmark. If you want to make your own bookmarks, it's quite easy to make it. The first thing you have to do is prepare a hard paper or carton and some pretty pictures from your old magazines. Then, cut the pictures and glue the the pictures here and there. Voila! Your handmade bookmark is ready to be put between the pages of your favorite books. It's easy, right? ;-)

By the way, I just finished reading "Antologi Rasa" -a novel by Ika Natassa- last week, and it was a good book. Well, I'm craving for another novel. Is there any suggestion, guys? :-)

They Flock Together

Draw a pattern, cut the papers, stick them, and... tadaaa! Let's say "Hi!" to my new little friends.

Several weeks ago, I killed my time by making this simple owl paper crafts using old magazine papers. It's not difficult to make this paper craft. You just need to prepare colored magazine papers, glue, and scissors.

By the way, I've been falling in love with owl thingy lately. I don't know why, but owl is so mysterious but it can also be so cute ;-)

Now, I'm planning to hang them on my desk and they will be my companion when I'm working on the desk.

Wednesday Afternoon

Go to a cozy place, meet new friends, and do something fun is the best way to kill your time in the afternoon --- and I did it! :D

This afternoon I went to Lir Shop and joined a crafting class called Play Your Magic Hands which was held by Nest of Ojanto. My new friends and I learned about how to print letters, pictures, or patterns with the stencil technique. Make a pattern on the fabric or paper is not difficult as we imagine. We can create our pattern and apply it on the fabric or paper using stencil technique. It's quite simple and fun.

By the way it was my very first time joined a crafting class and it successfully made me addicted. Really want to join another crafting class! :D

I Wouldn't Bite You!

I'm feeling so excited lately because I'm in the mood to make some handmade crafts. Seriously, it's totally fun and challenging for me. Besides, I'd feel satisfied if I could make something for myself or even someone else.

By the way, on Wednesday night, I had been making for a handmade mask for four hours. Totally tired but it was so fun! :D And this is the result..

Now I'm planning to make another DIY projects and join a crafting class next week. Happy Friday everyone! :)
