Satu Bulan Satu Buku

I don't really remember when I started my love for reading, but I guess it started when I was in elementary school. I remember going to the school library and borrowing some books there. I also remember going to the bookstore with mum or dad. They went to the adult section and I went to the rows of children books and found some cool books, sat in a corner for reading or just checking out the pictures. My favorite at that time was Enid Blyton's The Secret Seven serials which I borrowed from the school library. I guess my fondness of reading grew because of those adventure books.
Until now, I still love reading books, particularly in my spare time. Sometimes reading books can be a guilty pleasure if I do it in the middle of doing my assignments because I couldn't put the book down and continue reading it. I probably could read a book in a day if I don't have so many things to do. I prefer to buy my own books than borrow it in the library or borrow it from my friends because I can read the books anytime I want.
Well, anyway, last year, in November, I had started my monthly project which is named Satu Bulan Satu Buku. Satu Bulan Satu Buku is a monthly project, in which I plan to buy one book in a month. Actually the idea of making this project wasn't pure my own idea. I got this brilliant idea after finding and reading a post in someone's blog. He said that he loves to buy CDs of his favorite musicians instead of download it from the internet. Since the price of the CDs of his favorite musicians is not that cheap, he planned to save his money everyday and buy a CD at the end of the month. I was so wow-ed when reading his post because I've never thought it before. I mean, that's a brilliant idea and why didn't I do this before. So, I thought that it'll be fun if I can do the same thing like what he is doing. Then, here it is; I'm doing it right now but with my own version, Since I love reading books, I made a plan to buy a book in a month or in Bahasa I called it Satu Bulan Satu Buku. What I'm doing in this project is I regularly save my money for about 2k-5k everyday and at the end of the month, I'll take the money and buy a book.

Well, I've been doing this project for about six months if I'm not mistaken. And so far, I've got seven books by doing this fun project. Hopefully I can keep doing this project! *fingers crossed*
